MISSION

The mission of Waveride Surfing Club is to promote and foster the amateur sport of surfing with emphasis on good sportsmanship and citizenship, improving the public image of the surfing community and supporting the conservation of the coastal environment.

 

Our goal is to plan, create, sponsor and hold family-oriented activities related to the beach and surfing and stimulate public interest in all aspects of these activities, including the history of the sport & beach and ocean conservation.

ACCOMODATION AND SCHOOL

Windsurfing as an adventurous sport and recreational pastime first peaked in 1980s only to fall. However, with all sorts of advancement, the sport has suddenly caught the fancy of all those looking for unique adventure and fun. If you want to revel in the thrill and the tornado of gliding over waves at over 20-30 miles per hour, look no further than Shaka.

CRISTINA TOMPKINS

Christina is a Master Level Certified Surfing Instructor who has been teaching surfing for more than 10 years.

JENNIFER TOMASCO

A Master Level  Certified Surfing Instructor and an experienced lifeguard with years of experience.

MICHAEL JONES

Michael is a Senior Level NSSIA Surf and Stand Up Paddleboard Instructor with 5 years of experience.

DAN STEVENSON

From the age 5, Dan’s been surfing for 20 years, now he is working as a personal instructor at our club.
